Tap to Call My People is not GPS tracking. Instead, each Good Dog Machine has a Near-Field Communication (NFC) tag implanted within. When the tag is scanned by a mobile phone, the dog's profile is loaded allowing the person that scanned the dog to contact the dog's people!

First of all don't panic!

1. Log in to your profile on the tracking application.
2. Select the profile of the missing dog.
3. Move the toggle to mark the dog as lost.

If your dog is marked as lost, a red banner will be displayed at the top of the page when they are scanned. This will also over ride other privacy settings allowing the person that scanned your dog to see your dog's home address and point of contact.

Unfortunately not. Tap to Call My People works with iPhone 11 and up and on many Android phones. You can check if NFC is enabled on your Android phone in Settings.

For Tap to Call My People to be effective, we need a few pieces of personal information including:

• Emergency Contact Name
• Emergency Contact Email
• Emergency Contact Phone Number
• Dog Name
• Dog Home Address

If you are uncomfortable with having this information displayed on your dog's profile, you can select to keep it hidden. It will only be displayed if your dog is marked as lost.

Within your profile on the tracking application, you can select how you would like to be notified when your dog is scanned. If you select to be notified, you will receive an email with the GPS location of the phone that scanned the tag.

Zero. Zilch. Zippo. Nada.

(To be clear, this service is free as long as you have purchased a Good Dog Machine. Just tap your Good Dog Machine with a compatible device to get started.)

Just kidding! When someone scans your dog's tag, we ask to use their mobile phone's GPS coordinates to locate your dog. If they agree, we email those coordinates to you so that you can high tail it to your pup!
